No Spark

I have a 1997 Jeep wrangler, with a 4.0. I am losing spark when jeep reaches a temp of around 250 degrees. I have replaced the cranksensor, coil, cap, wires, plugs, rotor.. Spark comes in and out for a bit, then completly loses it. Won't run, or start. I wait half hour, temp goes down, will fire back up. Will run fine until temp gets back up, and then starts acting back up. Any Idea what would be causing this?

Does it always run at 250? That's sort of high...

Honestly I really don't know.. Just got the jeep a few months ago, and really didn't notice where the temp was stopping at on a regular. However, I have been watching it now, and that is where it is sitting. I went on a Jeep run on Sunday (First time really putting a number of miles on it) and it was hot outside, so I was keeping an eye on it. It was running at that temp all day, at least three hours before it started acting up and leaving me stranded. What is it supposed to run at?

I know 195 is a stock thermostat, but what is the normal running temp? Would that effect it to lose spark?

I have a 97 TJ and it runs about half a centimeter shy of the mid-way mark on the gauge. I wanna say that's about 230 but the jeep isn't with me and this is the only picture of the dash have so I can't read the numbers off of it.



However, you can get a good idea of the temp my observing where the needle is and comparing it to your gauge.

Just got a better picture of the dash from my ma who has the jeep atm.

Anyways.
The middle of the gauge is 210 so my 97 TJ runs at like 190-200 maybe 205 but most importantly just shy of the 210 mark.
(This is the jeep at rest by the way)

250 degrees? Your rig is constantly overheating and you may have damaged the engine. You need to address the overheating issue before throwing random parts at the most spark issue. The gauge is painted red to the right of 210 degrees for a reason

Shit guys, I apologize, it is running 210! I don’t know why I was thinking it was 250. After seeing pic, it's 210. It's not overheating, just when it get's around 210 it starts acting up. I don't know if temp even has anything to do with this problem, just noticed that when it gets there it acts up. Thanks everyone for your help!!!
