Noises in my jeep Help!

Yeah I was backing up out of a parking spot today and I stopped. I noticed as I stopped I heard like a. " crack" or a" creak" feels like something contracting like a drive shaft. I just rebuilt the U joints too. Also I hear a squik or a vibration at about 15 mph. Again feels like it's in the drive shaft or axle. Any comments?

Did you replace the joints in the front shaft also?

Just turn up the radio! Or supply more details. (fill in your Garage profile)

Only the front. That ball bearing was bad. It could be the back

At the top of the page ^^ click the Garage button and select My Jeep Profile. Click new and fill in details about your jeep (as much as you can)
this may help Stock TJ Specifications - JeepForum.com

That will add the Garage link under your name on the side.

A creak can be anything that has rubber contacting metal. Your Control Arm bushings for example can wear out and make a creaking noise. You might want to get under the Jeep with a grease gun and start greasing the grease fittings. This will eliminate a bunch of the suspicions. Do the ones on your Driveshaft, Control arms, and tie rods. Report back if the creaks went away or not.
