So you have the insides and need the case/housing to put it in? Car-parts.com perhaps.

I would check the bone yards first and see what they have if no luck then to Craigslist and Ebay they run from $250-$950 on ebay for the whole T-case.Do you need 27 or 32 spline? here is one for $250 http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NP-24...spagenameZWD1V And a 27 spline for $275 http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NP-24...spagenameZWD1V

are you sure they are really cracks? Because every new process tcase has what looks like a bunch of small cracks but if you feel them they are not cracks at all but small ridges. The ridges are there from the molds but they look like spiderweb cracks.

can you post a photo of it, or is it really cracked?

Thanks,

Ben

first off guys this isnt the 241 rubicon 2003 np241r... its just a chvy np241 four bolt flat flange. not the six bolt jeep model. but it leaks fluid, maybe it just leaks from the plug threads but it definatly leaks. and furthermore i cant find an adapter to mate the 92' t-case to a 79' style th350 and aparently there isnt a 79' period t-case that directly bolts to a th350. so back to square one....i may just have to buy the adapter to join the th350 w/ my jeeps t-case...boo-hoo its like $485.00 for 1" thick piece of aluminum and a custom shaft, what a rip off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i have no idea, i just kept hitting brick walls at salvage yards, and couldnt find nothing. but I WILL check into that. so srry if this sounds stupid but, did chvy use those cases in that period style trans? - mind you I have been doing this build w/ NO prior experience in chvy. hell i didnt even become intrested in chvy till i got my jeep! matter of fact i wasnt even intrested in vehicles OR wrenching till i got my jeep! so any and all hand holding is much appreciated...

Just be sure that if you find one, that the clocking of it is correct. Like on the 231J, the J indicates it is clocked specifically for a Jeep since the 231 is also used in other 4x4 vehicles.

the np241 is in a few different vehicles... but I think you want the np241OR which is specific to the rubicons

no, the np241or will still require an adapter to fit the th350. i want a direct bolt on to the tranny. and i looked at the chvy np205.....whoa that is huge! way to big, that one is out. what year chvy had the np203 w/ driver side drop and four bolt pattern instead of the "race track" bolt pattern (8 bolt)
