1999 TJ SE 4 cyl 5 spd 133k mi.3" lift
When I am turning in a curve to the right, I hear an odd metal to metal shuffling sound. When I'm driving sometimes I hear a sound like something hitting a piece of plate steel or like shackles klanging together.
Any guesses?
I had a similar sound a while back. It would show up when making turns or riding over rough terrain. It turned out it was the rear sway bar link. The upper bushing had rotted and completely fallen out. That was the metal on metal sound I heard.
