Ok heres the skinny...I noticed a sqeak inside (maybe outside) my jeep somewhere in the front passenger side area. I can hear it with the windows up. Sounds like a bed spring sqeak to be honest. Only hear it at slow speeds 30-40MPH. Never really noticed it until last night. I checked the seats..bounced up and down on em...anyone have any ideas??
You can lock it..even put a different t/c in it..but its still not a RUBICON!
Does it only squeek when it bounces or is it a constant squeeking/chirping sound?
06 Rubi with some sort of double ended, chrome knobbed, cross threaded, infinitely adjustable, frequently breakable, worn out flammywhammers zip tied onto it.
It used to be a jeep thing... til that sh!t broke!
I occasionally get one too. Its my passenger front seat. when you hear it, try to pushh the seat back forward and see if it stops.

Squeaks, rattles and other stupid noises really irk me. I will hunt for the culprit until it is found. Even if I can not fix it completely, at least I am satisfied just knowing what is the cause. Lubricate all the moving parts under the Jeep as well as inside. It may be something as simple as the door latch. Happy hunting.
The little control arm (inside the door panel) that connects the outside lock to the inside lock/unlock lever has been broken for a few years. Last weekend my window was sticking when trying to roll it down, so I took off the door panel to fix the sticking problem and I tried once again to reattach the control arm (since I had the panel off anyway) and no joy; however, I believe I left the control arm in an unfavorable position because it has been rubbing/squeeking like mad all week! Little bugger is driving me insane! Guess I'll have to take the door panel off again.
Full doors or half? My soft top w/half doors has a squeak where the removable window meets the half door. I found it by noticing the paint being rubbed off the door. It drove me nuts for a while because it sounded like it was coming from behind my seat.
My dash squeaks where the stereo meets the bezel. I just bang on it and it stops for a bit... I know, it's a very technical solution... Someday I'll get a new head unit, and blame the installer till they make it stop squeaking
