I have never seen a mopar filter in any store in the north east. I used them for a long time, when I bought my 98 I bought two full cases of both the oil and air filters plus a factory service manual, gradually switched to Mobil-1 and K&N filters, never had any issues with Mopar filters just that you had to buy them from the dealer which was a minor annoyance with their hours. One of the downsides of working for a living and 3 hour a day commutes.
