Oil Pressure Sensor/Switch

I need to replace the Oil Pressure Sensor/Switch.

I have it located.

I can see an red or orange tab on the plug that I assume needs to be in the proper location to to up-plug it so the Oil Pressure Sensor/Switch can be unscrewed.

For me this will be a one hand/arm job to reach it.

Can anyone explain which direction and or how the tab is unlocked?

The service manual is of no help.

The service manuals are to assist trained mechanics on the new models that they manufacturer every year not train backyard mechanics. Chrysler connections suck IMO, I have been in the automotive business for over 40 years and chryslers are my most unfavorite to work on. I guess it's just me. I would never buy a Chrysler but since they own Jeep I had no other choice when I was looking to replace my YJ with a new Wrangler.

Retired my 94 YJ 4cyl 5spd @ 200K
Now in a 04 TJ 4cyl 5spd CV @120K+
Both as a commuter vehicle in NW, NJ
April 2012.downsized and now a 99er.

The raised part on the red tab pulls out to the side about 1/8"...it doesn't come all the way out and you don't want it to. Most of the connectors on your jeep are like that so get use to it. You should be able to slide it with your fingers but if not a small flat head will work.
