Overheat and no heater??

2000 wrangler sport i6 5spd 130k. Water pump and radiator replaced less then 3yrs ago

I was driving down the highway yesterday when my heat went ice cold. Knowing what would probably happen next. I pulled over and bam 240 degrees. I can't find a coolant leak. But it's all over the motor, fan, hood etc. I started with checking the radiator. Still had coolant. Checked all the hoses. Seemed like a small blockage in the upper heater core hose because well. The hose is hot at the water pump and cold back by the heater core, so I replaced it.

Now, it isn't overheating (as much . . Running at like 210?) but I still don't have heat?

Any suggestions on where to start looking ? I'm thinking the thermostat is probably stuck closed.

Sounds like something is plugged up. If one if the hoses going to the core is cold, most likely the heater core is clogged also. Try flushing it both directions.

The heater bypasses the thermostat so it's probably not that. With a 2000 you have to suspect a cracked head with those symptoms.
