Overheated now it's skipping

My jeep overheated pretty bad earlier and blew the upper radiator hose. So I went to the parts house and got a new one, installed it, filled radiator and headed home. About a mile down the road started running hot again and cut off, started it up again and it was skipping. I went about a half mile more and decided to pull over and it was barely running it was idling at about 150 rpms. I cut it off and trailered it home, about 5 min away. I'm thinking it might be a blown head gasket but what other possibilities could it be? I'm letting it cool off completely now so I can go take a closer look at it later.

Pull the plugs and check for coolant being burned in the chambers. Spark plugs will be green or white and taste sweet (old school). But don't lick them hot, LOL.

I'm pretty sure it's a blown head gasket, I pulled the plugs and cylinder 5,6 had a little more whitish color to them. I found my compression tester last night so I'm going to check that this afternoon when I get home from work.
