overheating

Ok well after installing the winch in the front my jeep seems to come close to over heating with the A/C on at highway speeds and high RPM's....would installing another fan infront of the radiator help keep it cool? im worried that the winch is blocking air flow.

also where can I find an electric fan that will fit easily

yea your winch is affecting it but you should be ok.

flush the system put in a new T stat. check the tstat before you put it in by boiling it in water, use a temp gauge to make sure the tstat pops open at the right temp.
add a thing of water wetter or purple ice. and make sure all the air is out of the system.

After my radiator blew up, i replaced it with a 3 core all metal rad and its worked great

I've been having the same problem I do have a small electric fan in front of the radiator but I have not hooked it up yet
I just bought a small 10" fan from auto zone and it fit right in I did have to take out the metal tube v shaped thing for fitment
I have also done a radiator flush thermostat change it still gets hot I cant tell you if it works yet

I will probably put in a 3 row metal radiator in I found some for just under $200 shipped

dw, how hot is it running on the guage now?

I just put my winch on a couple months ago and I've only noticed a few degrees more running during the day this summer.

depending on how im driving it can get between the 210 and where the red begins like diectly in the middle of the 2 points

is it possible for the manifold/ exaust to make a sound when it gets too hot? cause when I do get that hot a really ugly sound comes up... one mechanic thinks its the transmission and the other thinks its the exause vibrating or something ...I do know my manifold is cracked and the pipes surrounding the cat are all cracked and rusted

Backflush and chanage the A/F fluid ...make sure you use something with H.O.A.T. Also make sure you clean any debris (mud, insects, ect) from the grill area....then re-evaluate.

If you are still having issues, change the thermostat.

How many miles are on it?

Did you get a chance to try any of the above suggestions? Any improvements? It's been more season around here lately so I'm curious how that has affected your temp. gauge.
