Overheating on highway driving, 04 Sport 4.0L 6cyl. My jeep overheats while on the highway, driving around town it's perfectly fine, the other day I drove on the highway it was perfect, only sometimes gets hot, any ideas on what the problem can be? It had fresh coolant, thermostat,

I'm no mechanic but I'll share my experience. My '04 did the same thing last summer. Kept using coolant. Replaced cap and worked for a while. Came back and replaced pump. Fixed for a while. Then radiator tank split. Replaced that and I've been good to go. Good luck.

Check your fan clutch and radiator cap.

Sounds like an airflow issue...cleaning the radiator fins with a hose would be my first step. If you have the original cap on i'd replace that also they're around $5...probably not the problem but it's good preventive maintenance either way.
