Plastic end pieces on your stock bumper?

Have a lot of you who still have the stock bumper taken those plastic pieces off? I think it looks so much better in my personal opinion.

Those came off the first day I had mine, never looked back.

1999 XJ Four door, mostly stock for now, but I am in the process of building a custom plate bumper.

I agree. I replaced mine with black plastic flat end caps that I found on ebay. :-)

yea same here had them for a week and took them off... i think there in my shop still

Took the front ones off of mine, but left the back ones on. They do help keep the rocks off the body panel on the corner. Sure they look a little beat up, but I'd rather have beat up plastic than beat up sheat metal if I can help it.

I bought mine from the dealer for $2.48 each. I only eplaced my front ones.
