Please help!

Okay, so i have a question for everyone, Im not sure exactly what happened but heres the story. I was driving down the road at abour 45mph and had to slow down. I downshifted into 3rd but when i put it into 3rd i heard and felt a pop in the clutch pedal. after that i couldnt shift into gear. Now i can turn it on and put it into gear but it isnt engaging at all... Does this sound like a clutch problem or a transmission problem?

I got under the car and had a friend shift through the gears, it sounds like they are engaging in the transmission but the clutch isnt making any noise when he pushes the pedal.. There still is pressure in the clutch pedal though.
PLEASE HELP AS SOON AS POSSIBLE! i need my Jeep for work on monday

Have you checked that the transfer case did not kick into neutral?
