pop from front left wheel

So i have noticed that sometimes when i turn the wheel or hit a small bump i get a pop sound from the front left wheel area.

Thinking it might be a U joint.... how far off am i and how long can it go like this?

find it and fix it... could be a ujoint, or a ball joint or a tierod end

you dont want to let noises in the steering go for any length of time
cause bad things happen when worn parts break
especially at hwy speed

Check your swaybar links...common thing to go bad. If bad they will pop in and out when you hit bumps. Easy and cheap fix.

I have adjustable lower control arms and had the same issue. The nut turned out to be lose. Common pops offten times on pumps are ball joints....

its not the discos. he has JKS discos that gets rid of the ball joint connection that tends to "disconnect" on flex.

If in FIRST you dont succeed, hit SECOND and gas it!

I would say start with the Front Trackbar, check the bolt on the driverside and the bolt on the axle end. If not that then I would check your control arm bolts.

If you want to rule out u-joint the best way to usually tell, is jacking front end up to remove wheel on the which ever axle side you believe is the problem and physically put your hands on the stub shaft & axle shaft and move to see if you notice any play watching the ears & u-joint.

For ball joints, while one side is jacked up, grab the tire by the top & bottom to see if it has excessive play or rock to it.
