popping out of 4th

let me try to explain this. (suck at explaining things)

I am driving a 99 sport 4.0
I JUST added a RC 4in lift with stabilizer. and 35in tires with 4.10 gears added front and rear.

I already had 3rd/4th sycronizer issues.

but when i got the jeep back from the shop adding the lift when i shifted into 4th it felt like i only had like an inch to pop it into 4th. meaning I used to pull down into 4th and it pulled down far.
when i am driving it is fine but if i let off the gas a little and it hops it will pop out because it does not feel like it is seated deep down.

any fix to this or reason this is happening??
how did it pull far down into 4th and now only have like an inch deep to put into 4th?

ALSO i bought the jeep with a Flowmaster exhaust and now rusting through a little.......any suggestion what Exhaust to buy for this ??

any help would be greatly appreciated.

i will be calling the shop on tues when it is open again.

That was my question too.
If you did, try this: http://www.wranglerforum.com/f5/2nd-...-up-10900.html
It's an easy first step to try. My '99 TJ has a 4" lift and a t-case drop. It was always popping out of 2nd and this fixed it.

IIRC, if it doesn't have a t-case drop, the geometry may be wrong, because of the lift. You might need a t-case drop. Somebody who knows more than me should reply soon.

Good luck.
