Power steering

Kay so I have a 97 wrangler 4 cylinder and I have noticed that there is power steering fluid dripping off of the pitman arm. What can I do to either stop the dripping or do I need to replace something? Looking to go inexpensive but also something that will hold for a while.

Try the Lucas oil power steering fluid stop leak its like ten bucks or less at your local chinamart. Make sure to get as much of the old fluid out as possible.

I tried using and that and while it slowed the leak, it didn't stop the leak.

Assuming your hoses aren't leaking anywhere, sounds like the output shaft seal on the steering gear. Stop leak slowed the leak down on my son's 97 considerably, but we finally had to replace the seal. If the seal is installed internally rather than externally (depends on the gear) you will have to disassemble the gear so it may be better just to replace the gear. When you remove the pitman arm, if you see a snap ring, the seal is mounted externally and is a fairly easy job.
