Question Pulling tool devices

Which kind of pulling tools are more effective on TJ; the bolt and plate kind, or the jaw style pullers for removing a track bar? Any thoughts, or experience would be great, I need to choose a tool and do the job.

Hmmm... Not really sure what you're asking.

If you're trying to remove the track bar you really don't need to use a puller, you just unbolt it.

Whenever trying to pull ball joints apart where the nuts are on tapered studs, there is no real need for a special too. A BFH used correctly as is described in the thread at http://www.wranglerforum.com/f5/cast...nch-44121.html is fast & easy. I can take an entire front-end apart like that in just a few minutes with no pullers, pickle forks, or anthing special at all.

Start on post #10 & read my posts on down the page & you should get the idea.
When you have a choice, buy American.
