Question regarding 2" to 2 1/" lift kits on a 2000 Wrangler

I installed a 2 1/2" lift kit on my 2000 Wrangler. Question: Is there any addaptor for the linkage that runs from the underside of the floor pan to the transfer case? Without the lift kit the linkage is parallel with the ground, with the kit its at a thirty degree angle due to the 2 1/2" drop in the transfer case. The kit I ordered does not come with a 2 1/2" addaptor. I called the supplier and they said they only start making addaptors at 4" or greater.

Does anyone have a supplier for linkage addaptors for a 2 1/2" lift kit?

Obviously you are talking about a body lift as opposed to a suspension lift?

mine had the 2" body lift when I bought it. I just peeked at the transfer case shift rod, and sho 'nuf, it's at about a thirty degree angle. It works just fine. Probably needed to be adjusted when the lift was put on, dunno for sure, I didn't do it.

If you only replaced your springs and shocks, it should not affect your linkages.
The body lift changes things between the body & frame mounted parts, suspension lift change angles between the axles and frame mounted parts.

The kit includes 2 1/2" spacers for the transfer case skid plate, so it drops the linkage 2 1/2" on the transfer case side from its original possition. Basically the body frame side of the linkage stays where it is mounted stock and the transfer case drops down 2 1/2", lowering the linkage on that side.

Take the Spacers out . What lift did you buy ?

I just did a Rough Country 2-1/2 inch lift It came with 1-1/4 inch sp[acers for the T-case and they were way to much . I ended up useing washers in place of the spacers . I used 5 washers on longer bolts and it works fine .

I can,t believe 2-1/2 inch spaces . BANGER
