quick axle question

I have a quick question. My friend has a 2000 sahara with 35's a 4 inch lift and a one inch body lift. I found a dana 44 with 4.56, a powertrax locker, ridler diff cover, just rebuilt. We talked the guy down to 1300$. It is ready to bolt into a jeep.

My friend currently has a dana 35 with 3.07 gearing, it's an auto. I guess my question is is it worth the money?

One question for me the guy also said he installed a C-clip eliminator, but I thought that the dana 44's didn't have C-clips.

If he installed a c-clip eliminator into that axle, it's not a Dana 44. What is the differential cover's shape? If it is a rounded oval shape, it's a Dana 35c. If the cover is more angular like a stop-sign, it's a Dana 44.

And which Powertrax locker? If it's the Powertrax Lockright locker and you're talking about a rear axle, its street manners are horrific. If it's the Powertrax No-Slip locker, it's manners are ok on the street. That price also sounds high to me.
