LOLLERS .. "thingy" being the technical term of course.
Did they SHOW you where the leak was?
You can replace all of that yourself and save a boatload of cash.
I notice that they are replacing everything BUT the hoses. May as well do them at the same time. You'll likely crack a few knuckles but you'll be better off.
I did a quick check at Autozone online
Radiator (base unit) $155
Upper & lower Hoses $34
That comes up to about $233 WITH new hoses.
Keep in mind that I just browsed quickly through. You may want an upgraded radiator or I may have guessed wrong on the exact parts. Point being, for a few hours of your time, you can save around $500!
uh oh, I just realized that it is too late.
Don't let it bother you and don't beat yourself up over it.
I got hosed on my new stereo. I happens to all of us. We live and learn.
06 Rubi with some sort of double ended, chrome knobbed, cross threaded, infinitely adjustable, frequently breakable, worn out flammywhammers zip tied onto it.
It used to be a jeep thing... til that sh!t broke!
