Radiator isnt working

So I did a quick search and could t find anything. So I'll ask the masses.. I just flushed the radiator yesterday, now it isn't working, I'm running at 215 and the radiator cap is staying cool and fluid is coming from cap (which I just replaced on sat) any ideas??

probably got an air pocket in the coolant. Why did you flush the coolant system to begin with? Were there issues present prior to doing the flush?

That doesn't make sense to me. 210-215 is a normal engine temperature so the radiator has to be working. Coolant is coming out from underneath the new radiator cap or it is flowing out into the overflow container? If the coolant is spewing out from under the new radiator cap, you probably just didn't get it tightened all the way. If the coolant is overflowing into the overflow container, it probably isn't the right pressure model cap, it needs to be an 18 lb. pressure cap.

Like Jerry said, I don't think u put cap on properly. My jeep stays slightly under 210 but never spits fluid. It is possible thermostat could b stuck in close but we need more information as to where the fluid is coming from and is 215 the highest temp u are getting? It's ok if fluid is going into overflow but it shouldn't be squirting from cap

I flushed it because I blew a cap on Friday, and the fluid I flushed out was brown, and it's not from overflow, just the actual radiator, in just used to a running temp a lil below 210

Welp, blew the radiator.. So next question, go with stock replacement or upgrade to something that will work for v8 swap I have planned?

So, you "blew" the cap, and then the radiator....Sounds like it's building too much pressure, like a blown head gasket.

Yeah, that's what I've been thinking, because I'm having misfires as well, so I definitely think it might be the gasket
