Radiator question

I bought a new radiator from autoZone and i cant keep cap from leaking, it seems the neck of radiator isn't smooth on top on one side, causing it to seep out where it seals, is there a fix or should i just get a replacement?

Is the current radiator cap new or pre-owned?

I think Spectra is using their customers as their quality control department. Take it back and try again.
