Ratlle/grinding noise 25mpg and up

I have a 2001 tj wrangler and after some fun mudding and cleaning it off I noticed a noise that's like something rattling/ grinding right around my transmission. It appears as soon as I hit 25 mph and up. I removed the shifter boot and the sound is like right there. I just had my transmission rebuilt so I doubt it's my gears. Very confused and hope it's nothin serious. Please help and thanks guys

Can't say what it could be, but 1 day on a trail I thought I seriously hurt my drive train some how because of a terrible grinding sound we looked couldn't figure it out at the time but gotta get home, over the coarse of a day or 2 it went away, one guy at the original scene on the trail suggested that sometimes gravel or a rock can get jammed in your drive shaft yokes causing a crushing grinding sound as the rock is being broken up??? Just trying to give you some other less serious options to think about, nothing worse than the sound of grinding under your Jeep.

Yea I'll check again but I went under there and checked to see if anything was lose or anything lodged in anywhere but I saw nothing. I dont rev my jeep anywhere near the redline and offroad I was only in first and second so I think if it was the gears it would be in first and second gear. But it only makes sound over 25mph.

Does the noise go away when the clutch pedal is pushed to the floor?

Another note : if I'm at about 3 thousand Rpms in 3rd then let go of the gas it sounds like a metal ring spinning freely around a metal pole? So confused on what it can be
