Try adjusting the striker and snug it up?

I tried that adjusted all the way back still rattling, thought it may have a bushing or something

Have you had a look at the spare wheel carrier bolts? Two of mine were a bit loose and the carrier was bouncing over every small bump. Sorry if that sounds a bit dumb.
