Rattling noise HELP!!!!!

I have a rattling noise coming from what seems to be my tranny, when I push the clutch in it goes away...any ideas??


It's an 05 unlimited I6 6 spd manual

oh yeah I don't know anything about transmissions or engines

Throw out bearing best guess- does it do it all time? all gears? only in nuetral?

i only hear it when I'm stopped, dowsn't mean it's not happening when I'm driving but it is tough to shift at times

Maybe a bearing, but start cheap/easy stuff first.

Heat shield.
Skid plate bolts.

Also, is it "new" or been around for awhile? These TJ tranny's tend to make a bit of noise.

started a few months ago but ill check the skid bolts

everything "seems" to be tight there is one nut on there that doesn't look like it is holding much thread but it appears to be tightened all the way down

not much more to tell sounds like nuts and bolts rattling in a metal bucket
