rc 2.5 (will i be happy?)

I've had my heart set on a 4" RC lift, but i ride on the road everyday and if i do go offroad its every other weekend. i know the 2.5 will allow 33's but whats the flex like?

Idk, i want my jeep to sit higher and have big nasty 33's on it but does it make sense and is it practical for me, as it is my daily and will see more road than "off road".

the 2.5" kit is $200 cheaper and comes with there 2.2 performance shocks. will this 2.5" kit be a decision i will be happy with?

i already have a 1" BL and 3/4" spacer in the front.

Will this 2.5" lift really make any difference? height/appearance/performance wise.

ive been beating myself up over this one, is the 4" really practical for me? and would it be worth it to go with a 2.5"

Get the 4" kit! You have some issues that won't allow you to be happy with anything less.

Cant help much with pics, as i have 3" of lift and run 32s. I think I would have room for 33s fine if I always ran with no top, but my jeep sits noticeably lower with the hardtop on, I think I could run into flex issues there. I think if the 4" kit is just as good, and is only $200 more I would go that way. As long as it is set up right, having that on a DD wont be a problem. Cut corners, however, and you could end up chasing problems for a long time. My recommendation, either way, is to do it right the first time.

Mitch. I would go with the 4" also. You could still run 33's if you want but this would give you the option of going with 35's. I'm on my third lift kit and have never gone with anything lower that a 4" kit. I'm now running the RE long arm kit with 6" Fabtech coils.

If you get a 2.5" and some jks disco's I think your flex will be good. If your only off roading every other weekend to me that $200 would go towards other mods but it's up to you.

I'm doing the 2.5" OME lift and a 1"body. That way I can run 33's down the road if I decide to put up the cash and re gear. Seeing how I have a 2.4L I prob will just stick with some aggressive 31's or maybe 32's. I hit the trails a couple times a week though, nothing crazy but I love to get muddy. I don't know what your financial situation is but if your not doing to much off roading I don't see a point to going with a 4". But if your going to come out every morning, look at your jeep and wish it were taller your going to regret it.

and hey taller isn't always better, i'm only 5'4 and i'm pretty bad ass

Whatever you do i'm sure it will still look great.

Here is a pic from a guy at the jeep rally this year. He has a rc 2.5 seems to be happy with it and flexes nice. I looked at this lift myself ended up with a rubicon express 3.5 and very happy with it
