Rear Axle Replacement

So I had an interesting weekend. The rear right wheel and half of the axle flew off my TJ on the highway and I came to a screeching, yet terrifying hault. I'm assuming that the rear diff was leaking fluid? Anyway, now I need to replace it and I'm thinking about an upgrade to a rear locker. Any suggestions on what I should put in? I'm hoping to get a complete kit.

Thanks,

Jon

I will guess dana 35? You may wish to compare prices between a used TJ dana 44 in your area vs upgrading the dana 35...I would not lock a stock dana 35.

Super 35 kit,dana 44 or if you dont need lockers a superior c-clip eliminator kit.The c-clip elim kit is the one im going for,as I dont want/need a locker,but run 35" tires.

It's a 2000 Wrangler Sahara, so I'm guessing it has a Dana 35. Any ideas on what I'm looking at price wise?

If you want to lock it, and youre going to run 33" tires youll want to upgrade to S35, youre talking prob about $1800+ and youll want to regear both axles.
