Question Rear Axle "Thump"

Right rear axle makes thumping noise when hitting bumps or potholes on paved street. Shocks don't bounce, so do I have "worn bushings"? Rear seat is out, so the sitting on the deck is rough on the rearend. '97 TJ.

Yeah, I'd suggest checking your bushings in both the upper and lower control arm's and also visually inspecting the control arm mounts on both the axle and the frame to make sure they are still structurally intact.
