Rear brake swap

Hey guys i've been drooling.. I mean looking through my nw quadratec catalog today in my study (aka the crapper). Anyway I was looking at the brake conversion kits and wondering if any of you guys have done a rear brake swap from the stock drums to disc brakes? How easy was it? how do you like it? is it worth the $600? I'm kind of thinking of doing it.

The best thing about disk brakes is that they would hold the wheel in place when the shaft breaks.
It's well worth the 1-$200. It's the only time I'd recommend putting money in a D-35.
