Iv'e seen many threads with the front bumper issue. But Mine is sagging a little in the rear. it looked to be about a 1/2 lower than the front. Not much but enough for me to notice it. I've got a 4inch suspension lift. Body armor rear bumper and tire swing. it has a 33x10.5x15 on the back. My front has a warn stubby bumper with a winch plate and a grill guard. No winch... yet...
MY question is that is it normal for the rear sag a little lower?
and ifs not normal, what are my options to fix this?
It's a pro comp lift kit. I was considering a leveling puck but, Iv'e only seen threads with them on the front. Just wanted to make sure there wasn't a specific reason why it would be bad to put a puck only in the rear.
Maybe upgrading to stiffer springs would be the better option?
Yes this is undoubtedly the better option especially in the rear. Mainly because the rear already requires longer bumpstops. And adding a spacer back there would only further decrease your up travel. If you're looking for decent springs, OME has a pretty wide variety of spring rates. Not sure about for 4" lift but just a thought.
I was looking into maybe 4.5 RE springs? Is it ok if the rear springs where a little longer to level it out?
This is where people get confused. Longer springs aren't the answer. This is because they'll simply bind sooner. Ideally you'd get 4" springs with a higher spring rate (like LJ ones) and use those. That way you can still maximize your up travel by limiting needed bumpstop extension and not damage your springs causing premature wear. With that said and extra half inch isn't that big of deal to most people. Just be sure and properly extend your bumpstops.
