ive got a detroit locker in the rear end, sometimes ill be driving, ill turn and ill hear a sound (kinda like running over a soda can) and ill feel my rear end like snag/click and jerk a little bit. i was wondering if this is my locker or is it some other problem?

Sounds normal to me. Auto lockers definately have quirks. Pop, bang, boom, click, lurch, jump, sway.....all normal.

100% normal, mine would sound like a cannon going off on sharp slow turns...

Yeah that's normal. You'll really notice it pulling into parking spaces. My friend's jeep does it. Drives me crazy

EDIT: by the way, that's the locker. It's automatic, so they slip like that. The extra loot you pay on a selectable avoids that.

Or SAVE a bunch of money and stick in a spool.

Pros: No quirks, no noise, always 100% traction, never wears out, nearly bulletproof.
Cons: Increaded turning radius, tire scrub, increased tire wear, not great in icy conditions.

I had an auto locker in the rear of my DD for a couple years. WHn it broke, I was low on funds and dropped in a spool instead. I liked it MUCH better on and off the road. That is just my opinion though.
