Rear seat support

alright had my jeep since begining of janurary and have noticed something i want to try and fix. I go to school and have a lot of books and such to carry around in the jeep. so i often put the rear seat down and tumble it forward but it often falls back when going up hills or acceration. and i cant remove it cause i do have to some times haul more than two people. i was going to try and drill a hole some where were two pieces meet and put a bolt that i could slide in and out to hold it but found no where to do this. any ideas would be great thanks.

There was a strap that came with the jeep originally. It would wrap around the roll bar cage and the post of the seat when it's folded forward. You can use a bungee cord if you lost the strap.

What year is your Jeep? My '05 rear seat locks in the folded position, but I find it easier to remove it. It hasn't been in the Jeep for over a year.

What year is your jeep? I know on mine its behind the drivers seat. When the seat is folded, the lever used to fold it is the one you put the tie around.

There is no lock/latch to keep it up.

Picture? The main rollbar hoop right behind the front seats. Fold the seat up and wrap the cord aroung the roll bar and hook it wherever on the folded set to keep it up.
