Rear tire rubbing..

I just had a 2.5" coil spring lift installed, and new 33x12.5x15 BFG M/T's installed on stock rims.
My rear axle must not be exactly centered, because my left rear tire rubs on the upper spring carrier. There is about 3/4" gap on the other side. Should I get a set of rear spacers, etc? How much of a gap is needed on the rear?

Yeah. Its not your rear end at all. Even stock one side will have a bigger gap then the other. He ^ is 100% right. You can get alloy wheels for as low as $450 for all four. But, you can get steel wheels for $225 for all four. You HAVE TO HAVE a wheel with a 3.50" or 4" backspace. You will be just fine with that. :thumb:

Both the oversize tires on the stock rims and the lift contributed to the rubbing. As you went higher, the axle pivoted to the passenger side due to the stationary length of the track bar. Replacing the track bar with an adjustable would allow you to center the axle, but you would still wind up with only about 3/8" on each side. That's not much if you'll be driving off road and flexing the axle at all. Ideally, and adjustable track bar AND wheels with less backspacing would be the way to go IMHO, but if you could only do one for now, I would go with wheels (more bang for the buck). I've got about 3/4" on each side with no issues.
