rear window on soft top

does any one know how to completly remove the rear window on a soft top.i bought another soft top to replace my current one with,but the only bad thing about it is the rear window is messed up.so i wanted to take my old one and put it on..my only problem is it doesnt want to come off!

i pulled both zippers all the way down to the right side and that as far as theyll go...please some one tell me there is a trick or something.thanks

You have to do it all the way to the left side if I'm not mistaken.. this is as you're facing your Jeep from the rear looking towards the front.

Lube it up with teflon or silicon spray. not oil

Yeah, two zippers can be a little confusing at first. And it's something that hardly ever gets taken off.

i take mine off everytime so i can put my soft top down... its the easiest way i found...

I also always remove all of the windows whenever we put the top down, if you leave them in, it'll scratch them up and they will bend and look shotty.

I just got my jeep and I realized after taking it off and putting on once, that I will never take it off again. Took more time to take that back window off than putting the top down and up combined. never again.

turka77 be sure to put a soft cloth between the window or it will scratch.not the best solution but beats buying a new top.

Oh, now. I am a scrawny little thing, and I took mine out this morning all by myself. Took me about a minute and a half. You just need a bit of practice. In fact I had the opportunity to show a friend how to remove his as well. There's really nothing too it. The hardest part for me is getting the tail gate bar out....
