Rear Wiper and Defoger Question

Hi all, I'm new so bear with me. I just bought on 2006 65th Anniversary edition. It came with a hardtop that has a rear wiper and defroster. Can someone point me in the right direction as to where I can purchase I kit to make the above mentioned items functional. Thanks.

I don't remember seeing anything, but if that is the case, I still do not have a switch for the wiper or the rear defrost

Do you have two toggle switches above the cig lighter?

This is where they are in my 2001...

I just have a overdrive switch (automatic), the other toggle switches are empty. There are none for the wiper or defoger, and i do not have any toggle switches.

What are the red and black toggles switches for when you have to switches above the cig. lighter?

Sorry I dont know what to tell you. I just figured all TJs had those factory switches but that just goes to show Im just a newb as well.

As for the black and red switches in the pic....I just grabbed a random pic off google images to show you. I dont know what that owner installed them for but my guess would be a set of aftermarket lights.

Your jeep came without a hardtop.

You'll need to buy a wiring harness and a set of switches for your hardtop.

Plenty of places to buy em, but a quick search will turn them up. My opinion is to stay away from the stealership and when you find what you want online, shop from there as some places are more expensive for the same exact item.
