Regearing or replacing transfer case?

I am trying to decide which route to take in lowering my crawl ratio which is currently 34:1. Should I get a kit and covert my existing TC to a 4.0 Lo, should I buy a 4.0 Lo unit (like the Teraflex) or should I get a Rubicon TC?

I have already installed a SYE on this transfer case, do the Teraflex or Rubicon TCs bolt up directly to my configuration and make use of the same SYE?

I have an 02 TJ with the TF999 automatic transmission and the NVP231 transfer case.

This is another option for the guys with an auto trans, but its kinda pricey.
Rubi-Crawler 2.72:1 crawler box for the Jeep 42RLE transmission

While the Rubicon TC is a nice unit, it's not easy (though it's not impossible either) to get it bolted up and functional. Most of the issues have to do with the skidplate and getting mounts fabbed up to make it all work. I'd rather have it than the Teralow 4:1 but plenty of people do run Tera's 4:1 successfully. Its main criticism seems to be that it's pretty noisy.

The Rubi-Crawler looks interesting but it is only for the 4-spd auto. i have the older 3-spd auto.
