Replaced RMS twice - question on Loctite placement

Hi everyone,
I've followed this guide twice now. Both times, I still appear to have a leaky RMS.

Since the oil is leaking near the RMS, I can only assume that I don't have a tight seal. On step 11 of that guide, you will notice that the guide says that it's crucial to NOT get any Loctite on the lip of the seal, but in the bottom-left picture he clearly has Loctite on the seal.

Both times I've done this, I've followed the *written* instructions and not put Loctite on the seal. But I also still have a leaky seal. What have y'all done? I'm beyond frustrated that I have to do this crap job for a 3rd time. At least I'm a pro at it now, though.

Sorry to bump the thread. I hate when people do that, and now here I am bumping it. The reason I'm bumping it however is because I had planned to do the job this weekend and was trying to figure out strategy for this go-'round.

Thanks.
