Replacing 3rd and 4th Shift Fork?

Hey Guys

Was driving yesterday, felt a "clunk" and no more 3rd or 4th gear. Everything else works perfectly though....

My belief from reading up on this is that I lost the 3 and 4 shift fork.

I've never delved into the transmission before, but am willing to try anything once.

If it is just the shift fork, am I still looking at complete disassembly? For somebody who is mechanically inclined but has never done this before, what else do I need to keep in mind?

oh yeah, AX-15 tranmission, 98 Sport with 4.0
