Reverse lights... Suck...

Just a few minutes ago i was backing up into my friends driveway which has no lights near it,and its on a downward hill, and i almost backed up into there basketball hoop because i couldn't see it until i was with in inches of it. Thankfully i am quick on the pedals.
Has anybody added new reverse lights back there?

I put a set of kc driving lights on the tire swing on the back bumper. Put the switch on the dash. They're just 55 Watts but they make a world of difference! They cost me around $40.

You do realize reverse lights are designed to notify other drivers you're backing up and not so much for rear-vision while backing, right? And yeah...lots of people mount a cheap off-road/fog/driving light on the back bumper (or another location if preferred) and they either wire it in with the reverse lights (use a relay if you do that) or they put a switch up on the dash for it.

Yea i did on the stock bumper.I went to wal mart and got some nice metal ones for $20. Just ran a toggle switch in the dash and then you can for hookin up trailers as well. I have the end caps off and just used one of those hole and it works great and they are really bright.
