Rockergaurd with 1.25" jks BL

ok, I have some extra cash and a friend is dumping his jeep, and has some

SRC Rocker Guards - Smittybilt

SRC rocker guards, I currently have nothing, and he said he would toss them to me for 110$ I think thats pretty good, and they look cool, but will my 1.25 JKS BL make them not work, or even just look weird?

I know you guys hate smitty, but i mean, I'm buying them for cheap and mainly cuz i think they look awesome.

The downside to that type of rocker guard is that if you come down on a rock you will bend the tube right up into the area that you are trying to protect ie. the rocker panel. IMO something like the Poison Spyder Richochet Rockers offer a lot more protection. Yes, they are more money but if you want protection as verses looks then look into "bolt to the tub" type rocker guards.

As far as a Body Lift affecting the way it mounts... It shouldn't be a factor as every rocker I have seen sets on top of the body mount, meaning, even if you have a 3" BL it still sets right on top!

The rocker guard in the picture looks like the type that mounts to the frame which is what prompted my comments above. The "bolt to the tub" type sits on top of the body mount as do the Poison Spyder Ricochet ones.
