Rough Idle

My 2001 Jeep Sahara Is Running Rough ,after 94000 Miles.. Changed Plugs, Still No Difference. Any Ideas?

Id suggest looking at all your vacuum hoses and just makeing sure there isnt any loose tubes that are unplugged. Also, check the wires to your O2 sensors and the such. If they got burned somehow or they have exposed copper they may have a short and would not be working properly. If all of thats sound then Id try runing a bottle of seafoam through your engine and see what that does for its idle. It can be had at any auto parts store for a few bucks.

cleaning my throttle body has worked miracles too. especially the idle bypass port or whatever its called, cleaning that has cleared up the high idle

X2 on all the above. You may also want to try the Seafoam top end treatment...works wonders.

you did plugs, what about cap, rotor, and wires, and fuel filter. basic tune up stuff??? cleaning throttle body can do wonders.
