Rpms jump

i have a 2001 wrangler sport A/T, well i went off roading not to long ago and the day after it started messing up... it wasnt that bad. but now when i put it in reverse and it only does it in reverse the rev's jump from 300 to 1500, and it stalls but the stalling only happens rarely.... any clues plz help i've tried cleaning my TB and still does it

I was recently having a similar problem,,, chaged out the 02 sensor (Today) And so far so good....98 Tj 5 speed......good luck
