Rubicon tcase question

ive got a 97 2.5 5 speed. found a Rubicon tcase locally for $95. came from an 04 5 speed. will this bolt up to mine?

Does it work at a price like that?! If so that is a steal...whether it bolts up or not lol.

I am not sure if it will bolt up or not though...hopefully someone else can help you out

the tcase is fine, the jeep is owned by a friends uncle and was in a pretty bad crash. the engine and tranny were sold already hes cutting me a deal on the tcase. I don't want to buy it if it wont fit.

it wont fit with out some work. you'll need to swap out the imput shaft to a 21 spline to mate your AX5.

Thats a hell of deal from what I have seen. If I lived closer, Id pick it up if it wouldnt fit your rig.

From the sounds of Irongrave, it'd take a little work to get it in there right.

how difficult would the input shaft swap be? do they sell kits?
