Adapters are for things that DON"T fit.

Advertisement said 18inch , didn't sound correct. Don't know if I would run adapters. Any thought s on failure rates for adapters? What about offset with adapters.

i run them on my rig. if you're going that route, make sure you get hub centric adapters.

I have JK wheels with adapters on my jeep. Adapters work just fine. I have 1000s and 1000s of miles on them on my jeep and other vehicles.

Don't be scared of adapters. I run JK wheels on my YJ with adapters. No issues with them. They also give your jeep a wider stance and (my opinion) a more aggressive look due to the spacing. In the instructions they stress not over tightening them. Just follow the instructions and you'll be fine.
