running rough

I just bought a 2000 TJ sport, I like the Jeep but in the morning it runs very rough. You have to keep the rpm's up when you shift or it cuts out.
any idea's?????

start with the basics. since you just bought it you should assume that nothing has been done to it. start with tune up, fuel filter. after that if it doesn't help then go onto the next steps.
