I was out mudding in a farm field with some friends today. My buddies chevy got way stuck, in the same place I didn't. As we were laughing at him my jeep started to shudder.....shimmy......and cough. I gunned it and took off to hook onto him to pull him out. As I was waiting to get hooked up it did it again and then died........It wouldn't restart, after a couple of minutes it kinda turned over and coughed and puked...then started and ran very rough, when I put it in gear it died. after about 10 min I finally got it to start and smooth out. after that it ran fine until i went and power washed it off. It did the same thing over again but not as long. Any ideas what or why??
Also my warn m8000 winch seems to have died after the very first pull on it. After I was able to get my jeep to keep running we hooked on to the chevy with my winch and I started to pull. It was so muddy that it was just pulling my jeep in to him. I stopped and we hooked another jeep to the ass end of mine to help anchor it. As I pushed the switch to real in the winch it did nothing but a quick click.....no in, no out......nada....I wasn't real happy, and now I have about 20ft of cable wrapped around my front bumper. Any ideas about either one of those problems??
