Question Sail Cloth or Denim Soft Top??

I recently had someone that would rather cut into my unlocked wrangler and take nothing rather than just open the door..but the good thing is i can finally get the tinted windows i want..was just wondering which of the bestop soft tops are the best deal...the sail cloth or the denim..havn't really seen the sail cloth up close so not sure exactly the texture or the look of it...

Sailcloth is a different pattern (diamond) but that is not the reason to get it or not. Sailcloth is a lot thicker as opposed to the early style denim fabirc. Sailcloth is a lot more quiet. Do a search on sailcloth. Every post will say to get it.

Go sailcloth. It was an improvement over the denim. My 2003 came with sailcloth. I believe that's the year they made the changeover.

Forewarning... I've never had a denim soft top, but you will still hear a decent bit of flapping with a sailcloth top, especially on windy days. I'm sure it'll be considerably quieter than a denim top though.

With the blower up a couple of notches, there will be enough pressure inside to dampen out most flapping.
Still not as quiet as a hard top for sure.
