The title of this thread says it all. In January of this year I bought a 2001 Wrangler 4.0L 6 cylinder in Vermont, dirt cheap. The catch was all the rust. BUT it wasn't hopeless. It had some light mechanical issues, but we drove it back the 3 hour ride to Massachusetts without any problem. Here's a picture of it in my garage:
I'm guessing your pic didn't upload. What type of advice are you seeking. There are lots of guys on here than can pretty much answer anything. You should try to upload another pic and ask what you are needing advice on. Take the sarcasm lightly.
- Can't find you a mechanic if we do not know exactly where you are located. MA is a big state.
- You have not said what work you are looking to do.
