Shaking from a stop

Just started noticing this today that when starting off from a dead stop sometimes he keep will shake. Even when I bring the rpm up as high as 2000 she will still shake but only from time to time. Any thoughts? Clutch has 4100 miles on it.

Sounds like it could be a transmission mount. Had a similar problem.

+1

Does the shake feel like a vertical death wobble? I dropped my skid and the transmission mount was decimated. Replaced it and the problem has since gone away.

Is it a clutch shudder? Only reason why that comes to mind is I drove my wifes miata today to work and apparently with that year car they had manufacturing issues with the clutch/flywheel and that thing has a horrible shudder when taking off sometimes. Drives me nuts.

Not a big deal to change out, It can be done without removing the skid.
