Shifter knob.

I'm interested in getting a new "T" shifter knob for my 2002 Jeep Wrangler Sport. Not sure which to get. A B&M or Hurst. Also don't know what size? They come in Sae/Metric sizes and Thread (16, 24, 28). Can anyone give me some help? Thanks.
P.S. How do I remove my old knob? Does it unscrew?

dont know the size... but the shift pattern circle pops out and then you can unscrew the knob

10MMx1.5 is the thread size. Once you pry the shift pattern out, you'll see a lock nut underneath. Loosen the lock nut a tad and the knob will then unscrew.
When you have a choice, buy American.
